The room is finally finished. Last few jobs completed today. All that remains now is some tweaks to the audio and maybe some minor positioning changes. I also decided to spray paint the cabinet handles black instead of their natural satin finsh. Pics:-
Well the room is about 95% complete. The curtains have been installed, and in terms of practical work all that’s left to do is to install the tie backs for the curtains, and buy and mount the Ikea LACK floating shelf. Oh, and mount the panels! I still want to make some form of 2.35 masking for the screen when watching such a movie – I may build something that fits round the PJ lens and blocks the light projecting the black bars also, we’ll see!
